Fashion Accessories – Can Update Your Look
Are you interested in updating your appearance, at least in terms of your fashion? If you are, you may not only want to examine the latest in clothing fashion trends, but also the latest trends in fashion accessories. Fashion accessories are rapidly increasing in popularity, particularly in our celebrity-obsessed culture. The term “fashion accessories” is very broad and includes a number of products. Just like fashion clothing pieces, accessories come in virtually every size, shape and style under the sun. There are fashion accessories that are designed for children, teens, men, women, petite sized, and plus sized individuals. The most well known fashion accessory is of course, jewellery. For teenagers and children, fashion jewelry pieces that are popular often include colourful, oversized pieces, as well as charm necklaces or charm bracelets. For men, a popular piece of jewellery often includes large pendant necklaces, many of which display a cross or another popular or meaningful symbol. As for women, popular pieces of fashion jewelry include watches, earnings, rings, necklaces, bracelets, pins, and so forth.
Another major fashion accessory that you might want to look at is a new handbag. While purses can also be trendy, it is the handbag that has become a real status symbol and major fashion accessory. Updating your handbag every season can be an easy and relatively inexpensive way to update your whole look. If your wardrobe is filled with classic pieces that flatter your body shape and suit your colouring, then simply choosing a new trendy handbag can instantly bring your look up to the minute.
Travel bags are also considered a fashion accessory, but differ from handbags in that a lot of them are designed for both sexes. A travel bag is generally a small bag that can be used as carry-on luggage for a plane ride, a nappy/diaper bag or a laptop carrying case. Many major fashion labels also have their own luggage line as well.
Shoes are also a fashion accessory, although many do not necessarily consider them to be. Most often, women’s shoes are associated as fashion accessories, as opposed to men’s shoes. One of the reasons for this is the amazing array of women’s shoe style available, for example: athletic shoes, casual sandals, elegant sandals, flat dress shoes, stilettos, kitten heels, sling backs, mules, pumps and the list goes on. As with handbags and purses, most women own multiple pairs of shoes and aim to coordinate their shoes, especially for work, with the rest of their ensemble. Belts are also a major fashion accessory. While for many men and boys, belts are not necessarily a fashion accessory as much as a fashion necessity to hold their pants up; the same isn’t true for women. Women’s belts come in a number of different sizes, shapes, and styles and virtually every season there is a new “must-have” style. There is everything from casual, crocheted belts to wear with jeans, to elegant, black leather belts as a pair of slimline black trousers for work.
Belts, handbags, purses, travel bags, jewellery and shoes are just a few of the many fashion accessories that you can use to make a good outfit into a great one. Accessories can be real statement pieces and a way to show your personality in an otherwise classic outfit. Fashion accessories are a great way to spice up any wardrobe, especially one that could use an updating.
The Inner Beauty of a Woman
There is no doubt that women and beauty are timeless. Everywhere you look you see women displaying their beauty in hairstyles, make-up, cosmetic surgery, fashion and accessories. Women and beauty go together like ice cream and cake. Don’t get me wrong, I love to be pampered and beautiful; adorned with what makes me feel and look beautiful. While most of the emphasis for women and beauty is shown outwardly, how much emphasis is being placed on the inward beauty of women?
The inner beauty of a woman is a very unique quality. It’s quite surprising to find that many women that possess outer beauty do not necessarily possess inner beauty as well. Have you ever encountered the woman that strikes you as beautiful until she begins to show who she really is. Her conversation is full of attitude; instead of confidence she’s cocky, in place of grace she’s tacky. The surface beauty does not compare to the inner ugly. On the contrast, take the woman that’s not really attractive but her personality causes her to shine like the sun at high noon. She has a quiet confidence that exudes explanation. Her inner beauty surpasses by far the fact that she may not be on the cover of anybody’s magazine or looked upon as a beauty queen; she knows who she is.
It would be nice to see more emphasis placed on the inner beauty of a woman. While many women are striving to get that perfect figure, nose, eyes, puffy lips, breast enhanced and enlarged, buttock lift, tummy tuck and whatever else that can be altered, the personality of the woman is not being enhanced at all. A woman’s inner beauty needs to always be evident on the outside. Integrity, honest, morals and values are traits that make up her character. No matter what the situation or circumstances, a woman that possesses inner beauty will conduct herself in matter that makes others take notice. Life brings about many opportunities to fashion a woman’s character for real inner beauty.
Fashion Trends For Children’s Clothing 2011
2011 has been an interesting year for fashion. This is the year where the press criticized celebrity baby Suri Cruise for wearing expensive designer kid’s clothing. This is the year where designer brands began to actively produce clothes for children-as there seems to be a market for expensive kid’s clothing. This is the year where children and adults alike explored the potentials of fashion from another culture-with Japanese and Korean fashion being in the forefront of the kid’s clothing and adult clothing fashion trends. It’s not too early to tell: after all, designers and clothing companies release their clothing lines early. What prominent trends can be seen from these early kid’s clothing releases?
Perhaps the most prominent trend to surge for the year 2011 is the theme of practical luxury or elegance for kid’s clothing. Again, this is a trend that probably stemmed from the “Suri Cruise effect,” wherein children want to wear designer clothes and parents want to dress their children in design brands. However, the clothing companies are gunning for something appropriate for kids despite its designer-luxury trappings. These designer kid’s clothing items will be comfortable and will steer away from styles that are inappropriate for the toddler and pre-teen set.
The eco-conscious theme will also become prominent in 2011, sipping its way from the adult runway to the kid’s clothing industry. Expect kid’s clothing pieces made from highly sustainable materials such as bamboo, organic cotton, and other similar fabrics. Don’t expect kid’s clothing to incorporate the leather and the highly sexualized look of 80s rock, although many will see the disgruntled, mixed and matched styles that the 80s made popular.
This fashion aesthetic somewhat adheres to the concept of 80s fashion-clothes and accessories that shouldn’t match but go well together anyway, the somewhat mature Victorian-inspired dresses, the exotic Lolita-styled dresses made innocent and child-like (and therefore safe yet cute).
For girl’s fashion, expect dresses with flowing fabrics. This trend, which is more apparent in countries such as Australia and United Kingdom, is likely to be incorporated in kid’s clothing-a far cry from the current trend of flesh showing for women’s fashion. What not to expect in kid’s clothing in 2011: velvet. Many fashion journalists are already seeing velvet as a major material in some of the biggest designs for next year-but it’s unlikely that this material will enter the kid’s clothing scene.
